Venice Beach-based designer Sophie Monet creates jewelry that is informed by her father John Okulick’s art: large, abstract wood and metal sculptures. (He also built the studio where all of Monet’s jewelry is made.) Combing mid-century references with earth inspirations, these Pine Wood Huggie Earrings are handcrafted into hoops from pine wood (repurposed scraps from her father’s sculptures), with 14k gold-plated sterling silver posts. The design reflects her commitment to sustainability. “I sculpt the materials that surround me, bringing natural elements into different contexts,” she says. These Sophie Monet Pine Wood Huggie Earrings are made in Los Angeles and  measure 0.9h x 0.25w x 1"d
