Octave Mini Glass Slice Hoop Earrings
Description
Inspired by the characteristics of the materials they’re made from—the malleability of metal and the permanence of stone—Octave jewelry is designed by Nigerian-born, Brooklyn-based Ope Omojola, who founded her brand in 2016. Made from borosilicate glass, these Mini Glass Slice Hoop Earrings are designed to relate sculpturally to the body. “The half-circle is flat off the body, but becomes dimensional exciting against the ear,” explains Omojola. “The organic form of the glass contrasts with the clean edges of the metal.” All of her earring designs are kinetic—they sparkle and sway with the wearer. The Octave Mini Glass Slice Hoop Earrings are made in Brooklyn of borosilicate glass and sterling silver and have recycled sterling silver posts, and measure 1l x 0.7w x 0.4"d
