From the Bouroullec brothers, an undulating vase inspired by clouds.

From Ron and Erwan Bouroullec, designers with work in MoMA’s collection, comes the Nuage Vase, composed of eight tubes in anodized aluminum or ceramic. The Nuage produces an appealing interplay of light and shadow with its undulating shape. Use the eight tubular compartments to arrange flowers, grasses, or dried branches. With its precise outer contours, the Nuage Vase can be fitted together with others from this series to create entire “cloud” formations. The bottom of the vase features rubber stoppers. The color of the vase will change gradually over time due to the special surface treatment and resulting pigmentation. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided when possible. The Nuage Vase is made by Vitra, a manufacturer with work in MoMA’s collection. It measures 5h x 7.75w x 4.25"d.
