Her modern version of the X-frame design features a more curved, ergonomic silhouette. It’s crafted from tan cowhide leather and maple wood, and this particular version of Porset’s chair is based on the one she created for the legendary Mexican architect Luis Barragán. The Butaque Chair is featured in the 2024 MoMA exhibition \u003cem\u003eCrafting Modernity: Design in Latin America, 1940–1980 \u003c\/em\u003eand is represented in the Museum's collection. It measures 31h x 24.5 x 29”d with a 12”h seat height.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eTo clean the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eButaque \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eChair, wipe entire surface with a soft cloth and cool water to even out any abrasions or stains. Do not spot rub, for it will darken only that area. Occasional use of manufactured Aniline Leather Cleaner, Conditioner \u0026amp; Protector is recommended.
