Designed for people with thick, curly, long, voluminous and dread-locked hair, the Soul Swim Cap is a larger cap that solves a problem for swimmers who struggle to cover their long locks. Made from 100% premium silicone that’s latex- and chemical-free, the Soul Cap comes in various sizes and is made to protect hair from saltwater, rain and chlorine, while also keeping it dry and tangle-free. 


Soul Cap is a UK-based, Black-owned brand founded by best friends Michael Chapman and Toks Ahmed. The pair started the company to create swim caps designed to accommodate voluminous Black hair. The caps have now found a diverse audience of swimmers who have been looking for a cap to suit their unique hair needs. Soul Cap advocates for diversity in aquatics—in 2020, they partnered with Olympic swimmer Alice Dearing, the first Black woman to swim for the UK—and work with Empowered Swimming and TankProof. These organizations provide free swimming education to disadvantaged communities, as well as access to swimwear that fits via Soul Cap designs. Clean by hand with mild soap and water.
