Why We Chose This
In 2012 MoMA acquired Tetris, alongside a selection of other video games, for their collection. The 1984 phenomenon was featured in the Museum’s 2022 exhibition, Never Alone: Video Games and Other Interactive Design, which explored how digital interfaces shape the way we play and live. This collaborative timepiece translates that visual legacy into wearable form, using a pixelated silhouette to honor a classic example of clean, geometric game design.
