The first signature watch from a renowned Japanese architect.

Created in collaboration with Cauny, this Green Apple Watch is the first ever wristwatch designed by famed Japanese architect Tadao Ando, who has work in MoMA’s collection. Ando was inspired by the giant apple sculpture he often placed outside his buildings, which served as visual metaphors for youth. “I think youth transcends age: Everyone can live young…but in order to do that, you need intelligence and stamina. It’s important to always search for novelty and find hope in everything. That’s why I wanted to create architecture that sends messages of hope, and it ended up being this green apple.” The timepiece features a bright green round dial with a stem and leaf cleverly representing the hour and minute hands.
