MoMA Exclusive: This set of two vibrant Oorun Didun Glass Cups was designed by Yinka Ilori, a London-based multidisciplinary artist who specializes in fusing his British and Nigerian heritage to tell new stories in contemporary design. His Oorun Didun Cups are inspired by nature and the feelings that arise from encounters with the natural world. Oorun Didun comes from the Nigerian expression for “sweet sun,” and the designs express the optimism and playfulness that characterizes his work. His designs are meant to invite you to gather together in community and to set the stage for celebration. This set of Yinka Ilori Oorun Didun Glass Cups includes two sizes and are dishwasher-safe. They measure 4.6”h x 4.3” diam. and 5.1”h x 3.3” diam. The straight cup holds 8.3oz and the round cup holds 10.2oz.
