A Venetian-inspired chandelier, reimagined through a mid-century modern lens.

Designed in 1958 by Venetian-born lighting master Gino Sarfatti—whose work is represented in MoMA’s collection—the 2097/30 Pendant Lamp is the classic, full-scale interpretation of Sarfatti’s iconic suspension light. Inspired by the grand, multi-tiered silhouettes of traditional Murano chandeliers, Sarfatti replaced delicate glasswork with a dramatic central steel column and 30 sweeping brass arms.

By exposing its electrical cables, the design turns function into sculpture, casting a warm, multi-directional glow perfect for dining rooms, open living spaces or grand entryways. The 2097/30 Pendant Lamp is made in Italy by Flos, a manufacturer with work in MoMA’s collection.
