Architect, artist, and designer Max Bill created an extensive body of work, including one of the most distinctive watch collections of recent decades, which includes this Ladies Watch. The serene simplicity of his 1962 design conveys the mid-century cool that marks his timepieces. The Max Bill Ladies Quartz Watch’s 32.7 mm matte silver-plated case with domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal encloses a quartz movement, and a three-hand face with luminous hands and date window. Secured with a black leather strap. Made in Germany by Junghans. Max Bill’s work is represented in MoMA’s collection.
