Designed in 1933 by Alvar Aalto the table features Aalto’s famous L-shaped legs and also updated two-tone color options—a contemporary twist inspired by vintage foldable tables. The Alvar Aalto Drop-Leaf Table seats three people when the leaf is dropped and up to six when it’s extended. Both Aalto and the table’s manufacturer, Artek, are represented in MoMA’
