      Why We Chose This
As with our best-selling design The Hopimist, Lisa Larson's bird objects express the optimism and freedom associated with the late 1960s. Beginning as a youth movement in the U.S., the hippie subculture developed around the world. In Sweden, Larson's colorful flock of birds came to life during this time, channeling the energy of the Flower Power movement.
