Salvador Dalí Gold-Plated Eye Drop Earrings
Salvador Dalí Gold-Plated Eye Drop Earrings
Inspired by the symbolic elements of artist Salvador Dalí’s Project for 'Spellbound' for Alfred Hitchock’s Spellbound (1945), a film in MoMA’s collection, these Gold-Plated Eye Drop Earrings pay homage to the surrealist artwork in a very special way. Barcelona-based, family-owned jewelry brand Joidart designed the 24k gold-plated matte metal eye to frame a handmade Murano glass eyeball. Wear this pair to make a subtle surrealist statement or team with the matching necklace for a bit more impact.

Joidart is dedicated to the magic of craftsmanship, attention to detail and originality. The brand combines traditional techniques, sustainable materials and a contemporary vision.
Joidart follows a “slow crafts” philosophy, where each manual process—soldering, polishing, scratching and enameling—is carried out slowly, allowing the jewelry the necessary time to achieve the desired finish.
The jewelry is produced conscientiously and locally, through processes that are as environmentally friendly as possible. In their workshops, workers apply artisanal jewelry-making techniques and produce all pieces by hand in short runs.
Joidart began in 1981 when founder Jaume Julià converted a small gold and silversmith’s workshop in a rural village near Costa Brava, Spain into a contemporary jewelry brand. Their jewelry channels the spirit and culture of the Mediterranean, with designs inspired by Joan Miró, Antoni Gaudí and Salvador Dalí.
