When designer Ron Arad imagined a bookcase, the Bookworm Bookshelf was the uniquely sinuous and charismatic result. Made in Italy from extremely sturdy, yet very flexible, PVC by renowned plastics manufacturer Kartell, the Bookworm can be curved and shaped to suit your needs, holding up to 20 pounds of weight between each set of supportive bookends. Mount the Bookworm Bookshelf wherever and however your own creativity dictates: in your office, bedroom, workspace or living room. For safety, it is advisable to ensure that the final shape of the Bookworm is curved to keep the proper architectural tension when the shelf is loaded.
