MoMA Exclusive: Designed by Yinka Ilori—the British-Nigerian designer known as the “architect of joy”—this clock was inspired by Ilori’s boyhood travels to the coastal town of Margate, and references joyous moments in nature, like rippling water and the mid-day sun. The bright hues used in this design are drawn from the bold color combinations characteristic of Nigerian garments. Powered by one AA battery (not included). The Yinka Ilori Wall Clock is made from painted aluminum and measures 1.75h x 12"diam.
