Entrepreneur Jaume Julià founded Joidart in 1981 after visiting a picturesque mountain village near Spain’s Costa Brava and converting an old metalsmith’s workshop into his contemporary jewelry company. For a collaborative collection called Somni (“dream” in Latin), the brand interprets the illustrations of artist Judit Canela to capture the essence of Mediterranean light and the vibrancy of the Catalan Coast.
