An object in MoMA’s collection, the Cobra Table Lamp was designed by Greta Magnusson Grossman in the late 1940s and was exhibited in the U.S. Pavilion at the 1951 Milan Triennale. The Cobra Lamp draws its name from its serpentine arm and wide oval shade that mimics the body and hooded head of a cobra snake.
