A mesmerizing lamp with gravity-defying illusion. 

The Balance Table Lamp is a statement-making design that plays with the concept of time and creates the illusion of motion. The seemingly impossible position of the design’s orbs is, according to the lamp’s designer, Victor Castanera, “an expression of the fragility of existence.” The Balance Lamp is composed of a pair of glowing orbs poised between two slanted steel boards. These opal-glass orbs are juxtaposed with two black metal orbs, which counterweight the design. The overall structure of the lamp is grounded by a black marble base—and third orb with a flat bottom.
