HAY Collapsible Storage Bins
Why We Chose This
HAY Collapsible Storage Bins are an innovative storage solution designed and produced in Turkey by Aykasa Polimer, a family-owned company founded in 2006. The foldable designs were originally produced as crates for fruits and vegetables. In 2015, they introduced a wide range of bright colors, so this functional design is also an upbeat home accent. The crates easily fold and open in seconds thanks to Aykasa's patented hinge and lock system. This durable system allows the crates to be opened and collapsed frequently for long-lasting use.

  • HAY

HAY, founded in 2002 in Denmark by husband-and-wife team Mette and Rolf Hay, was born with the idea of offering thoughtful, functional, beautiful and high-quality designs at accessible prices. HAY is represented as a manufacturer in MoMA’s collection with several objects, such as the Prince Chair, a 2002 design by Louise Campbell. Devised for a competition to create a chair for the Crown Prince of Denmark, its seat resembles an unfolded paper cutout. Another design in the collection, Stefan Diez’s 2013 Rope Trick Lamp, is inspired by power transfer coils common to CNC hardware.

Authenticity Guarantee

At MoMA Design Store, all of the designs we sell are curator-approved and authentic. We ensure the integrity of our products through research and by working closely with the designers. Our products embody the spirit of good design objects in MoMA's collection. Some of them are actual designs represented in the Museum's collection.
