This futuristic floor lamp was created by the British design team of Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, jointly named “Designers of the Future” at Design Basel/Miami in 2006. The duo characterizes their approach to every design challenge: “We seek to re-evaluate the archetype, to challenge precedents.” Their design features a tent-like head that swivels 90 to 180° to direct light for reading on the couch or in the bedroom. The multi-led diffuser is specially designed to avoid the “multi–shadow” effect of multiple LEDs. Made in Italy by Flos, a manufacturer which reproduces many of the iconic lighting designs in the MoMA collection. Designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for FLOS.• 78" cord.• UL certified.• Built in LED 2700K 347lm CRI 90 - 9W.
