More angular than a circle and much softer than a square, the Nelson™ Roll Bubble Pendant is named for the action you’d expect it to take after giving it a gentle tap on its side. Instead, float this pendant lamp from the ceiling in your office, entryway, dining area or living area to provide a source of soft, luminous light—and good conversation.

Designer George Nelson’s Pendant Lamp series was born from his fascination with some silk-covered Swedish lamps that he coveted for his own office, but found too expensive. Instead, he developed a more affordable version, made of lightweight steel frames cast in organic shapes and covered with an innovative plastic resin. A recently reproduced design made available by the George Nelson archives, the Nelson™ Roll Bubble Pendant includes a ceiling plate of brushed, nickel-plated steel and a 10-foot cord, is UL listed, and fits a standard size bulb up to 150 watts (not included). Installation required. The George Nelson™ Roll Bubble Pendant measures 15h x 18”diam. George Nelson has work in MoMA’s collection.
