Alexander Girard designed this textile during his tenure as founding director of the Herman Miller Textile Division, from 1952 to 1973. Double Triangles features repeating ribbons of black-and-white triangles minimally arranged in a bow tie configuration. The designer and manufacturer have work in the MoMA collection.
