MoMA Exclusive: Devised by designer Matteo Monni to have a dual purpose, the Curtain Cake Stand & Serving Bowl supports your cakes or pies when its flat surface is facing up as it evokes the drape of curtains. When inverted, it becomes a bowl for holding fruit or serving salad. It’s made from white magnesium porcelain, a material produced with the same kiln firing process used for bone china, where a fusion point is reached at 2,372°F. This process allows a large design to still be very light—half the lightness of normal porcelain. The Curtain Cake Stand & Serving Bowl has a glossy finish and measures 3.5h x 10.55”diam. as bowl and 9” diameter for cake stand. It is microwave- and dishwasher-safe.
