Tom Dixon Press Glass Vase

The shape of this Press Glass Vase, a design by Tom Dixon, is distinguished by the “lady finger” details that encircle the top half of the vase. The vase’s thick industrial glass has been engineered to catch and refract light, making it an intriguing design for a sun-filled room. The glass is crafted through a manufacturing process that involves dropping large globules of molten glass into iron molds heated to 2,192°F. The glass is then pressed inside the molds to create the vase’s shape. The Press Glass Vase measures 8.6h x 4.3"diam. Tom Dixon is a designer with work in MoMA’s collection. Wash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Not dishwasher-safe.
