In the mid 1950s, Verner Panton established his own design studio and began designing whole interior spaces, from textiles to lighting, incorporating his distinctive graphic aesthetic. First designed as a cotton print in 1969, Optik consists of concentric circles and radiating bands of stripes. Its bold shapes and surprising color combinations are hallmarks of Panton's sense of humor as well as his rigorous approach to design. The designer and manufacturer have work represented in the MoMA collection. Made in the USA. Dry-clean only. 17h x 17w x 5"d.
