This pocketable nylon tote folds up into an attached pouch, so it’s great as a shopper or whenever you need an extra bag. Charles and Ray Eames rank among the most influential and important designers of the 20th Century. Perhaps best known for their furniture, the Eameses created landmark contributions in architecture (the Eames House), films (Powers of Ten), exhibitions, toys, graphics and much more—expressions of their rigorous and expansive approach to design.
MoMA introduced the Eameses to the world in 1941 when their winning chair design was displayed as part of MoMA's Organic Design in Home Furnishings competition. Since then, MoMA has organized numerous exhibitions charting their creative legacy and impact on modern design. The UNIQLO at MoMA collaboration pays homage to these designers who are represented in the Museum’s collection.
