Made in Italy and produced in a limited edition of 50, this silk scarf features a floral print derived from Francesco Risso’s first collection as the creative director at Marni. Risso was one of the three designers MoMA Design Store commissioned to create their modern interpretation of the classic patterned square scarf. A riot of color and pattern, this scarf can be worn in a myriad of ways.
This exclusive design is inspired by MoMA’s exhibition Items: Is Fashion Modern?, on view from October 1, 2017 through January 28, 2018. The exhibition explores the past and present—and in some cases also the future—of 111 items that have had a strong impact on history and society in the 20th and 21st centuries.
