MUJI Rice Cooker
Description
Naoto Fukasawa’s rice cooker, a white design for MUJI, makes three cups of your favorite, fluffy rice with set-it-and-forget-it convenience. It features custom settings for different varieties of rice and porridge, a handy paddle rest on the lid, a rice scoop and built-in cord retractor. Fukasawa is a designer included in MoMA’s collection.

The name MUJI is derived from the Japanese phrase "Mujirushi Ryohin," meaning "No Brand Goods." The resulting products are streamlined, environmentally friendly, and beautiful in their simplicity. Over the last 20 years, MUJI has developed a worldwide following with a guiding philosophy that emphasizes innovative and simple materials, processes, and packaging. Work manufactured by the company is featured in MoMA's collection.
