This modernist Steamer Set does double duty by cooking rice or soup in the bottom and steaming food on top. Designed by Office for Product Design, the Hong-Kong based duo consisting of Swedish designer Tomas Rosén and Scottish designer Nicol Boyd, it features a pot and lid made from fireproof ceramic. Inside, the traditional bamboo steamer basket is replaced with terra cotta, a natural, absorbent material that ensures perfectly moist food. Finished with cedar trim, the steamer can be used on open-flame gas stoves as well as in conventional and microwave ovens. Hand wash only.
