We've collaborated with Vans on a footwear and apparel collection that highlights works by celebrated artists in MoMA's collection. The Museum and Vans share a passion for inspiring creative expression and individuality around the world.
One of Dalí’s best-known paintings, The Persistence of Memory (1931), has been interpreted on the panels of the Vans Old Skool Twist. The construction of the sneaker has been twisted to go beyond the perception of reality. The artwork is also featured on Vans long-sleeve and pullover apparel.
These styles showcase Monet’s Water Lilies (1914–1926), works made in the artist’s later years at his home in Giverny. They are featured on Vans’ Authentic sneakers as well as a hat, fleece and backpack style.
These colorful interpretations of Vans’ iconic checkerboard features bright, bold colors that celebrate MoMA. The collection features Vans and MoMA logos across the latest ComfyCush Old Skool and Era silhouettes.
Vans worked with MoMA educators to develop two sneaker styles. One is a Classic Slip-On with abstract shapes on the Velcro uppers, which allows kids to customize their shoes. The color wheel designs teach children about color.
