3D-printed in California, this dimmable Cantilever Table Lamp is made from a sugar-cane-based plastic substitute—Gantri Plant Polymer (GPP), the world’s first plant-derived polylactic acid. The design’s off-center globe sits on an elevated base to provide 360° of warm, ambient light with a space-saving footprint. The lamp’s spherical design is inspired by iconic shapes and geometry.

Why We Chose This
The Cantilever Table Lamp is made from Gantri Plant Polymer (GPP), a corn-based polymer co-developed by the California-based manufacturer Gantri and colorFabb, a company known for its 3D-printed products. This durable, eco-friendly material is specifically engineered for lighting designs and unlike traditional petroleum-based plastics, it is safe and sustainable. The translucent blend of GPP used for the Cantilever Table Lamp produces a beautiful, frosted-glass-like effect when illuminated.
