For their proprietary material, Gantri Plant Polymers (GPP), the brand collaborated with material scientists from ColorFabb to develop two distinct blends of GPP. Both blends are derived from non-GMO sugarcane sourced from Thai farms and are specifically engineered for different lighting applications.
At their factory in San Leandro, California, Gantri has improved 3D-printing by enhancing its quality, finish and scalability. They’ve also developed the world’s first digital manufacturing process capable of producing unique, high-quality light designs on demand.
Gantri uses renewable resources, reducing reliance on petroleum and helping to prevent resource depletion. Their PLA production reduces CO2 emissions by 75%, and their sugarcane-based processes further offset manufacturing emissions.
For their dimmable LED lights, Gantri employs Gantri Plant Polymers, the brand’s proprietary plant-derived materials that are biodegradable and durable. Gantri manufactures all their products on-demand in California using an innovative 3D-printing process, which enables them to offer luxury-quality lights at a more accessible price point. Gantri stands for the next generation of lighting, blending beauty, functionality, and sustainability without compromise.
