Self-described as a “slow fashion with care” jewelry brand, Edas was founded by Philadelphia-born designer Sade Mims. These Monah Earrings are handmade from vintage materials (brass and wood beads) by Mims in her Brooklyn studio, where she works with her all-woman team. These earrings, like many of Mims’ designs, are inspired by the culture of the West Indian community in her Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Mims likes working with brass because “it inevitably ages with time and can always be brought back to its original state with simply using water and soap or a polishing cloth.” These versatile Edas Monah Earrings can be worn every day with casually or more formal ensembles. They have silver posts and measure 1.5l x 1"w.
