Named for the Italian word for “chick,” this stylish, all-black aluminum Pulcina Stovetop Coffee Maker has a spout that whimsically resembles a baby chicken’s beak—and its v-shape allows it to pour perfectly with no drips. The design’s water boiler stops dispensing at the precise moment before the coffee can develop a bitter aftertaste. This helps to enhance the full and rich aroma of this drink. Designed by Michele De Lucchi, this black update of the original Pulcina Stovetop Coffee Maker is produced by Alessi, a manufacturer with work in MoMA’s collection. Wash with hot running water and a non-abrasive cloth. Hand wash only.
