This boxed note card set features Henri Matisse's vibrant painted cut-paper collages from his groundbreaking illustrated book Jazz, 1947. Dynamic and expressive, images include Jazz (Icarus), The Lagoon, and The Knife Thrower. The artist's innovative paper cut-outs are the subject of MoMA's 2014 exhibition Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs, the largest and most extensive presentation of these works ever assembled. Comes packaged in an acetate box. Each box contains ten cards and envelopes, two each of five images.
