Anna Lagorio and Alex Carnevali founded Fattobene in 2015. Since then, they have traveled throughout Italy to rediscover beautifully crafted, quality objects that have been known and loved for generations. Fattobene, which means “well-made" in Italian, is an inventory of everyday archetypes that pay tribute to Italian craftsmanship and timeless design. “These are objects that have filled Italian people’s homes forever,” say Lagorio and Carnevali. “They are minute, silent objects with an irresistible charm. Over the years, their role has changed and these simple industrial products have transformed into true icons of everyday life.” Now available for the first time outside of Italy, Fattobene is pleased to share their discoveries at MoMA Design Store, Soho and online. Now through September 29.
