This is a Hard-to-Find Poster.
This original four-color lithographic poster was designed by Milton Glaser in 1975 for a music festival at Temple University in Philadelphia.
"The swan, superimposed on an enigmatic profile, suggests some aspect of making music. The columns at the top refer obliquely to the idea of 'temple.' The geometric patterning refers, in a general way, to the arts. In short, I really don't know what I was thinking when I did the poster. But people like it, and the abstract nature of it makes reference to notions of beauty, organization and pleasure." —Milton Glaser
