This mustard-yellow butter dish is crafted from melamine in Portugal by heritage company Faplana. Founded in 1955, Faplana is known for its remarkable work in manufacturing melamine and other plastic products through compression. In the 1980s, they began producing products for the French market, working with such prestigious names as Philippe Starck and Alessi. A beautiful everyday object for your table, this Melamine Butter Dish features a plate with curved sides that can accommodate a small bar of butter, and a lid. It’s sourced by A Vida Portuguesa, a small Lisbon-based, women-owned shop focused on goods made in Portugal. The Melamine Mini Butter Dish measures 1.5h x 3w x 4"d. Hand wash only.
