This Olimpico Bicolor Pencil is made by Viarco, the oldest and only pencil manufacturer in Portugal. The company was founded by industrialist and entrepreneur Manoel Vieira de Araújo in the 1930s, and is still family-owned to this day. Viarco, which is an acronym for Vieira Araújo & Companhia, has been brought back into modern day culture thanks to A Vida Portuguesa, a Lisbon-based, women-owned shop focused on the traditional craft of Portugal. This classic pencil combines both red and dark blue colors that can be used on paper, wood, stone and even fabric. Perfect for both professional and artistic pursuits alike! The A Vida Portuguesa Viarco Olimpico Bicolor Pencil measures 7"l.
