“Our porcelain pieces are handmade in our workshop in Barcelos, Portugal, by Francisco Pinto, a master modeler with a lifetime of experience, and his daughter Sara, who continues his craft.The first prototypes are created directly in clay. In Madrid, we design and assemble the metal structures that embrace each porcelain figure, the moment when the jewel’s composition takes its final form.”

“When modeling, the form comes from the pressure of fingers, the touch of tools, and there is an intention behind each gesture. But once the material enters the kiln, the fire does the rest, and the results are often unpredictable, especially in the glazes and in the colors. We love that mix of control and chance.”
