Conceived in 1971 by Danish designer and architect Arne Jacobsen, this Bankers Watch is based on Jacobsen’s Bankers Clock, designed the same year. In 1961, Jacobsen won a competition to design the new National Bank of Denmark, which is considered one of the designer’s masterpieces. His Bankers Clock still hangs proudly on the bank’s wall in Copenhagen. Arne Jacobsen’s work is represented in MoMA’s collection.
