Supported by form-bent birch wood loops that act as brackets, the Wall Shelf 112B is an elegant and practical storage solution for your home. Designed in 1936 by Alvar Aalto, this shelf offers two ways to attach it to your wall, with the brackets either below or above the panel, in which case the loops can be used as bookends. Use the Wall Shelf 112B for books, objets, towels, toys, plants and more. Made in Finland from solid birch, the Wall Shelf 112B measures 9.75h x 35.5”w, with 10.5”w brackets. Some assembly required. Both Alvar Aalto and the shelf’s manufacturer, Artek, have work in MoMA’s collection.
