This Balos Recycled Bag is produced by BYBBA, a brand founded in 2020, on the same day that New York announced its ban on single-use plastics. Made to replace single-use shopping bags, this lightweight yet durable bag is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic that’s crushed into billions of miniscule chips, and then washed until they’re sparkling clean to create the brand’s Techniluxe fabric. The fabric is dyed with eco-friendly dyes and the wastewater is cleaned and cooled before it’s released.
