Designed by Marie Macon and Anne-Laure Lesquoy, this set of two Embroidered Brooches celebrates the legendary Bic Cristal® ballpoint pen, an object in MoMA’s collection. Each piece is meticulously hand-embroidered in Pakistan using a traditional Indo-Pakistani cannetille technique. This ancestral method utilizes spiraling metal threads that are cut and stitched by hand like tiny tubular beads, creating raised, highly texturized designs. Featuring enameled copper thread that forms a unique spiral-stitched finish, these playful pins celebrate both a classic ballpoint pen and an iconic four-color pen, offering an effortless way to personalize your style.
