Why We Chose This
Founded in Tokyo in 1946 by Kashio Seisakujo, Casio is known for their early innovations in all-electric compact calculators and their celebrated watches. Their Film Card Solar Calculator from 1982 is an object in MoMA’s collection. They released their first digital watch in 1974, the world’s first wristwatch to include an automatic calendar function.
