Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, whose work is represented in the Museum's collection, this chair is an early example of the wonders of molded plywood by the famous team that pioneered its development. This ergonomic chair was reissued in 1994 by Herman Miller®, the original manufacturer with work in MoMA's collection. Made in the USA of five-ply hardwood with eight-ply legs and neoprene shock mounts.
