The well-known Management Chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames, whose work is represented in the Museum's collection, is produced in the USA by the original manufacturer, Herman Miller®. A classic design of style and comfort, the Management Chair was originally developed for a private residence designed by Eero Saarinen and Alexander Girard. The lightweight frame is wrapped in luxurious black leather that subtly conforms to the contours of the body. The wide seat is height adjustable with a pneumatic lift, and the chair tilts and swivels for comfort. The chair's column is made of tubular steel with a polished die-cast five-star aluminum base.
