Sculptural precision meets dual-purpose design anchored by fine Italian marble.

Designed in 2015 by Cypriot designer Michael Anastassiades—whose work is represented in MoMA’s collection—the Captain Flint Floor Lamp combines dual-function versatility with geometric precision. Featuring a cone shade that rotates 315 degrees along a slender metal stem, it seamlessly transitions from direct reading light to ambient background illumination. Its heavy marble base provides sturdy stability while adding a rich, sculptural accent to living rooms, reading nooks, or bedrooms. Available in Black with a Black Marquina marble base or Brushed Brass with a White Carrara marble base. The Captain Flint Floor Lamp is made in Italy by Flos, a manufacturer with work in MoMA’s collection.
