The Eames Hang-It-All, designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1953, is boldly sophisticated in its reinterpretation of the simple coat rack. For the Herman Miller x HAY Eames collaboration, this version features cast-glass spheres, instead of wood ones, mounted on a sturdy steel frame.

The glass spheres and steel frame are in a color palette chosen by HAY. The frame was created using the same technique for simultaneously welding wires that the Eameses developed for their low tables and chairs. Herman Miller, HAY and Charles and Ray Eames are all represented in MoMA’s collection.

Features of the Herman Miller x HAY Eames Hang-It-All Coat Rack include:

  • Designed by HAY and Ray and Charles Eames.
  • Introducing cast-glass spheres that celebrate color, tactility and light.
  • The colors of the glass spheres and steel frame were chosen by HAY.
  • Includes 8 large and 6 small solid tempered-glass balls.
  • Steel rod frame with powder-coated finish.
  • Fun and functional solutions for the bedroom, office, entryways and more.
