Sometimes referred to as the "Eames office wire chair" or "wire-back office chair," the Eames Wire Chair was designed in 1951 by Charles and Ray Eames. With a streamlined silhouette, the painted steel wire seat can come with an optional outdoor-safe seat pad. This version of the Eames Wire Chair is from the Herman Miller x HAY collaboration, and features a color palette chosen by HAY. Herman Miller, HAY and Charles and Ray Eames are all represented in MoMA’s collection.
