Why We Chose This
These House Bookends are made from the wood of paulownia trees, which are native to Japan and Korea. Because of its antibacterial, insect-repellent, mildew-proof and warp-resistant properties, paulownia is an excellent wood choice for these bookends, ensuring that they'll have a long life in your home. Paulownia is also used in the production of a variety of objects, including chests, the soundboards of Asian stringed musical instruments, electric guitars, and the cores of touring skis and surfboards.
